Grenada
The Caribbean
This is a beautiful island nestled in the heart of the Caribbean. It’s a small, friendly, and happy place to visit. I got the opportunity to go to reconnect with my first serious boyfriend. We visited every beautiful part of the island. I felt at home here, and part of the family. I didn’t want to leave.
Jamaica
The Caribbean
I am blessed to have visited Jamaica twice in this life. So far! Jamaica is one of my favourite islands to visit – reggae music, great food, and great people. You can’t go wrong!
Guyana
South America
This trip to Guyana was liberating and free and, at eight years old the freedom to just be a kid, exploring the neigbourhood, was very different than what I’d experienced, growing up in Toronto. I loved visiting the place of my family’s origin. I learned a lot about my history and had fun doing it, too.
United Kingdom
This was a family trip to visit cousins in England and Wales. We had a jolly good time visiting the Queen, eating fish and chips out of newspaper, and feeding the birds at Trafalgar Square.
